As we reached the end of the first half term, our Principal, S-J Pyne, thanked staff, pupils and families for such a warm welcome in her first half term at The Flitch Green Academy. There is a real buzz about the school, and there was plenty to celebrate.

On Friday 16th October, we held our first Gold Assembly of the year. Two pupils from most classes received a Gold Award, and every recipient showed all of our school values, with collaboration and respect a key theme. The audience deserves a special mention too, for being so respectful and happy for their classmates. As well as their gold prizes, each recipient earned an extra 10 house points.

Blue House win the first half term

Congratulations to Blue House, our first half term winners with 1,534 house points, followed by Green (1,466), Yellow (1,385) and Red (1,341). Blue House will enjoy a non-uniform day on Wednesday 4th November.
