Hazel, Maple and Oak class news

Castles, Ancient Egypt and a multi-skills event, a busy week for Hazel, Maple and Oak.

Hazel, Maple and Oak have had a varied week of learning.

Hazel have been building Motte and Bailey castles out of LEGO, writing their own "dragon slayer" stories, and exploring local maps of the area, including a moat near North End.

Maple have stepped into Howard Carter's shoes, writing diary entries about the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, and investigating how sound travels using a tuning fork.

Oak have started drafting their own narrative stories inspired by Oliver Twist, explored how sound works in science, and took part in a multi-skills event.

Well done to this week's Learning for Life Award winners in each class, we're proud of you all.
