House points are back!

Our house point system has been relaunched, with Blue House topping the first week's table.
This week in whole school assembly, we relaunched our house point system.
There are four houses at The Flitch Green Academy: Green, Red, Yellow and Blue. They used to be named after space shuttles, but pupils prefer using the colours as names. Brothers and sisters at the Academy are always placed in the same house.
Pupils earn house point tokens when they are recognised for showing our Flitch Green values. The house with the most points each week is celebrated in Friday's assembly and in our newsletter. Each half term, the house with the most points wins a non-uniform day. At the end of the year, all house points are added to sports day scores to find an overall winner, and the winning house's ribbons go on our house cup.
In the first week, Blue House took the lead with 112 points, followed by Green (108), Yellow (78) and Red (76).
