Maple and Poplar help break a Guinness World Record for reading

Maple and Poplar classes are officially record breakers after taking part in a global reading event.

A remarkable 153,862 people from 92 countries and territories joined the National Literacy Trust's Take 10 to Read event in October 2026, setting a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the most people reading online in 12 hours.

Both Maple and Poplar classes took part, so our pupils are officially part of a world record! Well done to everyone who joined in.
