AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS:
The academy run a variety of after school clubs for children each term. You will receive communication on how to book these via ParentMail at the end of each term in readiness for the term ahead.
Clubs do alternate each term, but can include:
- Dodgeball
- Art
- Gardening
- Multisports
- Running/Cross Country
- Chess
- Maths
- Science
- Football
- Coding
- Reading Eggs
- Tag Rugby
- Rounders

SWIMMING:
Years 1 & 5 will swim each year. You will be informed when your child is due to swim via ParentMail communication.
AUTUMN TERM:
September for 10 weeks
SPRING TERM:
January for 10 weeks
SUMMER TERM:
(This term will include those who did not meet the requirements of 25m in any stroke this year)
April for 10 weeks
PLEASE NOTE: Swimming is part of the National Curriculum and it is our school policy that all children will swim in years 1 and 5. If children are not well enough to go swimming on their allocated days then the school will deem them not well enough to be in school and you will be asked to come and collect them. Thank you in advance for your support with this.
Illness Absense
If your child is unwell and unable to attend the academy please ensure you leave a message on the absence line by 9am (01371 822330). The academy follows guidance set out by the Health Protection Agency with regards to infection control. Click Here to see guidance.
